This disc has a storage capacity of 4.7GB, or two hours of recording time. It has an 8X write speed. The key component is gold, one of the most inert, reflective elements on earth, which makes it ideal to resist the effects of temperature and humidity. This characteristic prevents oxidation, a common cause of failure in most DVD discs. A spindle is included, to provide safe storage for the discs. This disc has Scratch Armor coating, which lasts 10 times longer than other recordable media, and prevents scratches, scuffs, dirt, chemicals and fingerprints that can damage it beyond repair.
